Parking

Fletcher Hotel-Paleis Stadhouderlijk Hof is located in the most beautiful part of the historic city center of the centuries-old court city of Leeuwarden. To preserve the authentic character of this area, it is designated as a low-traffic zone. Parking at the hotel is not permitted. Access is only allowed for guests who are in possession of a valid disabled parking permit.

The entrance to the low-traffic area (Wortelhaven–Eewal–Hofplein) is monitored by camera, and fines will be issued for unauthorized entry. If you wish to load or unload luggage and hold a valid disabled parking permit, prior registration of your license plate is required. Traffic signage is indicated by ANWB signs and follows the applicable traffic regulations. Fletcher Hotels cannot be held liable for any fines incurred as a result of non-compliance with traffic rules. You may park your car in the public parking garages Oldehove or Zaailand, both located just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. If you have limited mobility, please contact our reception team by email in advance.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the hotel or the hotel rooms.

Bicycle parking

Our hotel is located right in the historic city center. Due to this unique location, we do not have our own bicycle storage. However, just a 1-minute walk away you will find the guarded public bicycle parking on Sint Jacobstraat, where you can safely and comfortably store your bike.

The bicycle parking in Sint Jacobsstraat is open from Monday to Wednesday 07:30 - 19:00 (7:30 AM - 7 PM) and Thursday to Sunday morning 07:30 - 01:30 (7:30 AM - 1:30 AM)

Sunday and holidays closed except May 5th and Ascension Day

 

Electric bicycle hire

Fee of €29.00 per bicycle per day. You can reserve a bicycle during stage 2 of your booking or at hotel reception.

Children and extra beds

Children up to and including three years old can stay in their parents' bedroom for free, depending on the room type. For €10.00 per room per night, you can hire a cot and for €38.50 per room per night, you can hire an extra bed. Cot reservation is subject to availability. Speak to hotel reception for further details.

Tax and handling fee

The tax and handling fee is €3.00 per person per night. The tax and handling fee must be paid at the hotel.

Accommodation for your four-legged friend

Dogs are not permitted in our hotel.
